Hello all!!First off I would like to congratulate Kara, Alyssa, Marissa, Ashley and Corrina on winning local titles! It'll be great to have 5 more lovely ladies to spend Miss Connecticut week with!!! I also attached a picture of me and my beautiful sister queen Nancy Rivera, Miss Litchfield County's Outstanding Teen, from our night at the Miss Rose of New England/Windham County/New London County Pageant. It was a wonderful show, and as always great to spend time with my pageant family!
Secondly I would just like to remind everyone that tomorrow is February 29th, which sounds silly- but I mean come on, we only have a February 29th once every four years! Therefore I think it's pretty cool 2008 is a leap year =)Thirdly (I don't even know if that's a word) but I'd like to remind everyone about Crowns for a Cause which will be occurring on March 30th!! We have some great acts lined up so far, but there is still time to participate!!! If you'd like to be a contestant in this benefit performance please e-mail me ASAP at misslitchfieldcounty08@gmail.com. Tickets will be on sale soon and I'll post more information as it becomes available! Finally I'd like to share with you some goings on in my life at the moment! As of right now I've been accepted to 3 colleges for the fall- Drew University, Franklin-Pierce University and Emmanuel College. I'm still anxiously awaiting about 8 other letters so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Also, the second trimester of my senior year ends tomorrow which means I'm that much closer to commencement! Pretty thrilling to think in 3 months I'll be done with school! The Highlander Theatre Company at my school is also in full swing with our rehearsals of this year's musical- The Mystery of Edwin Drood! I was cast as the title role of Edwin Drood in January and we're working hard to pull off a spectacular production! It'll be the first weekend in May at Chase Collegiate School, so mark your calendar's it promises to be a good time!As of right now I think that's all! Much love always,XOXO Alex <3
Yes, I know this is my second post in two days but I warned you I was a writer!!!
I am excited to be writing this blog in order to announce my current endeavor to you all!!!
"Crowns for a Cause" is a talent showcase which will benefit two amazing charities- "The Make-A-Wish Foundation" which is my issue of concern, as well as the national platform of Miss America "The Children's Miracle Network". 100% of the proceeds from this event will be donated to these incredible organizations!!!
I am seeking talent from across the state to compete for first prize in this showcase! If you either wish to donate or you have a talent you would like to perform in the show, please contact me with your name AND talent at misslitchfieldcounty08@gmail.com!
The success of this event is dependent upon the help I receive from you all, so PLEASE sign up to compete in the showcase and/or attend this afternoon of fun! I've also arranged for all visiting queens to have an opportunity to introduce themselves whether they intend on competing or not. This is an event I wish to share with not only my school community and pageant family, but also anyone and everyone who wishes to support my Miss Litchfield County experience! Thanks a million! Much love!
XOXO Alex <33

Hello everyone! This is Alexandria Puglisi your Miss Litchfield County 2008!
First off, though a month and a half has already passed, I would just like to once again thank all those who have supported me and given me best wishes during my incredible journey thus far! I not only look forward to maintaining the fabulous reputation Domenica has started with the Miss Litchfield County Organization, but I am also thrilled to be vying for the crown of Miss Connecticut in June, where I hope to make you all proud!
As many of my friends know, I LOVE to write! Therefore consider this blog the first of many which I will post during my year of service. I'll keep you updated on appearances, projects and any other things which I feel hold even the tiniest bit of importance in my life! As of right now I'm working on a rather large endeavor in order to benefit my issue of concern "The Make-A-Wish Foundation" as well as the national platform of Miss America "The Children's Miracle Network". I'm most certain I'll be posting the details of this event very soon! I also have my official Miss Litchfield County e-mail up and running so you are able to shoot me an e-mail in order to contact me with questions, concerns, or hey even just to chat! =) That address is misslitchfieldcounty08@gmail.com. Well, I'm fairly certain that's all for now!! Much love!
